Computer Network Hardware
All the elements that go together to design a computer system are divided into two categories: hardware and software. Computer network hardware contains the physical components that work together to make a computer system run effectively and efficiently. Computer network hardware is objects that can be touched within a system as opposed to computer software which is untouchable. Computer network hardware is embedded into a computer motherboard which is the source for all activity.
Computer network hardware includes parts such as routers, servers and storage devices. Routers are a gateway to which two or more networks can connect. Servers are allow a network to have a shared resource and are back-ups that take over if a PDC fails. Storage devices are also known as computer memory that retains information and digital data that a computer network computes over an interval of time. Storage devices are the core functions of a modern computer regarding information retention. Computer network hardware is all the mechanical, magnetic, electronic and electrical components that make up a computer system.
A computer system cannot effectively run without the proper computer network hardware. Regardless of the size of a computer system, all systems contain major items of equipment used for a particular purpose. Computer network hardware is the backbone of any computer system or unit.
